ValvTect Fuel Dri is an effective demulsifier formulated to safely remove the high moisture typically found suspended in fuels in fuel storage tanks. Fuel Dri will help "dry out" these fuels by demulsifying entrained moisture found in diesel fuel and biodiesel blends, for easier removal from the tank bottoms.

Removal of water in the fuel enhances the energy content of the fuel and helps eliminate hesitation due to water contamination. Fuel Dri also allows the fuel water separator to function properly. It is a non-corrosive treatment that will not reduce the flash point of distillate fuels below ASTM or TMC specifications.

As part of the Tank Guard™ Maintenance Program, use of ValvTect Fuel Dri is an essential tool in the overall preventative maintenance procedure. Preseason conditioning of tanks involves removal of excess water and treatment with BioGuard® Fuel Microbiocide. Removal of excess water in the fuel system will also help prevent fuel system corrosion and reduce the possibility of bacteria contamination. It is the perfect program for fleets, truck stops and card locks where performance can be hindered by the presence of water.
